Angel Reviews~! FarCry 3.

Publisher: Ubisoft
Developer: Ubisoft
Release: December 4th, 2012
Genre: Action, Adventure
Platform Played On: PC

FarCry 3 turned out to be one of the most engrossing games that I have played in a long time. As you work your way through the jungle islands to save your friends and youngest brother, Riley, from Vaas and Hoyt’s grasps, you create a bond with Jason, actually becoming emotionally attached to him if you will. As you work through the first island, where you learn the ropes of being a “warrior” and work up to killing Vaas, you engage in battles, both external and internal.

While on the search for your friends you come across Dennis and Citra. Two individuals who want nothing more than to see you thrive and grow into the warrior they know you are destined to be. After each of your friends are saved, you learn a little more, get a little closer to where the next friend is and finally learn Riley’s whereabouts.

Once you’re off to Hoyt’s island, FarCry’s second island, you hook up with an undercover agent, Sam. Sam has been working for years at being undercover and learning the workings of Hoyt’s operations Sam helps you to get close to Hoyt, destory his enterprise, his men and helps you find and rescue Riley.

Once Riley has been saved you fly back to the first island, set on by a terrifying call from one of your friends, Liza. You learn that Citra has captured them. Leading you to make a tough decision, stay with Citra on the island and be a God-like warrior OR save your friends and go home.

I won’t spoil which ending I ended up picking. I’ll allow you to make your own choice and see which ending, of two, you end up getting. This game was truly amazing, solid in almost every aspect that I saw and played through. I saw no flaws where there could have been plenty. I twas very wide open and vast. Plenty of places to explore, camps to overrun and activities to do if you did not wish to advance the story line right away.
